Getting Started: Accessing Your eClass Courses

To access your eClass courses, you will need to have a Campus Computing ID (CCID) with a valid password. You can then LOGON to eClass and you should see a list of your courses.

CCID and Password Help

  • Your CCID and password should be sent to you via e-mail by the Office of the Registrar. You must ACTIVATE your CCID by changing the password before you can use your CCID with eClass or any other services.
  • Before attempting to log in to eClass with your CCID, you should TEST IT to verify that your CCID is working and you know your password.
  • It is a good idea to CHANGE your password periodically.
  • If you require assistance with your ID/password, or you did not receive a CCID on your timetable, go to Room 302 General Services Building or email the helpdesk at helpdesk@ualberta.ca.
  • Students in non-credit programs, Continuing Professional Development, and Staff Training do not use a CCID for login to eClass, but will be provided with their login information - contact your program coordinator for assistance.

Once your CCID and password are set up and functioning, you can login to eClass:
